I called Carlyn out of the blue to ask for some advice regarding selling a property currently under construction. Even though there was no imminent plan to do business together, she was kind enough to call me back and offer her insight regarding the situation. Carlyn went above and beyond helping us successfully navigate this crazy housing market. We made numerous offers before one was accepted. We were working to complete the purchase from another time zone and the sellers were also in different country and time zone so this all was a challenge. She advised going with a local lender and we did not take that advice and had to fire our lender and start with a new one part way through. She steered us to a great lender who worked fast and coordinated a delay in closing with the sellers so we could get it done all with positive good humor.

Carlyn Lowery has been my go to real estate agent for 11 years now. Originally she was recommended to me by my Independent Financial Advisor. I am a residential and investment property owner. Recently Carlyn led the sale of my ancient Baltimore investment property as a 1031 exchange. The sale went quickly and smoothly. During the process I was in Asia. Carlyn successfully kept me up to date with the process and made negotiation recommendations that saved me money.Once we closed on the sale I had 45 days to locate a new investment property and 120 days to close on the new place. There are a lot of financial factors to consider in a 1031 and the people Carlyn suggested I contact for assistance were efficient, competent and friendly. I used a lender, title company, appraiser, and 1031 lawyer that she recommended. We located a townhouse to purchase in Anne Arundel County and closed on the property in 43 days. During the process Carlyn advice saved me money on the purchase price, & closing costs. She also was a great agent for “me”, the seller agreed to do many upgrades to the new property that saved me time and money.All through these procedures Carlyn was encouraging and creative. We certainly had a few tiny obstacles to overcome; each obstacle was overcome. Even with 30 years experience buying and selling real estate I still listen to the pros, every one of her suggestions was a positive force. She is a pro!
